What To Expect

At Altitude Animal Aid, we strive to make every visit as smooth, comfortable, and informative as possible. Here’s what you can expect from the moment you schedule an appointment to after care.

Before Your Visit: Preparing For Your Appointment

Scheduling

You can schedule an appointment by calling, texting, or booking online through our website. Be sure to mention any concerns or specific needs your pet has so we can tailor the visit to meet those needs.

Paperwork

Prior to your appointment, we’ll send you a link to complete the necessary intake forms online. This saves time and ensures we have all the important information about your pet’s health history, behavior, and any recent concerns. If your pet has had any significant recent health changes or has been seen by another veterinarian, please have any relevant medical records handy for review.

Arriving Prepared

Since we’re coming to you, we ask that you prepare a comfortable, open space where we can examine your pet. A living room or kitchen works great—somewhere your pet feels safe and relaxed. To account for travel time, we ask for a 15-minute window for our arrival, either before or after your scheduled appointment time.

After The Visit: Ongoing Support

After your visit, you’ll receive a summary of what was discussed, including any instructions for at-home care, prescribed medications, and when to schedule a follow-up appointment.

Follow Up & Ongoing Care

If your pet requires ongoing care, we’ll check in with you to ensure everything is going smoothly and provide any additional support you may need. We also offer telemedicine for follow-up care as needed, allowing us to provide guidance and answer questions remotely, ensuring your pet’s health continues to improve without the need for an in-person visit.
